Environmentally certified hotels

In order to be environmentally certified, hotels must fulfil strict requirements for everything from environmentally friendly operations, to the treatment of waste, water and sewage, energy consumption and the choice of suppliers who are also environmentally friendly.

Both Oscarsborg Hotel & Resort and Reenskaug Hotel in the centre of Drøbak are Eco-Lighthouse certified.

Reenskaug Hotel

Welcome to Reenskaug Hotel – a family-run, historic hotel in the heart of Drøbak.

Oscarsborg Hotel & Resort

In the middle of the beautiful Oslofjord lies the fortress island Oscarsborg. This island played a significant part in Norways history from the second world…

Coastal cabins

On the islands outside Drøbak there are several scenic coastal cabins.

The coastal cabins at Håøya

There are three charming coastal huts on Håøya.

The coastal cabins at Bergholmen

Two fjord-side coastal cabins on Bergholmen, an island pearl just outside Drøbak.

The island of Lågøya

Experience the island of Lågøya, the new cabin paradise in the Oslofjord.

Camping and hammocks

For other types of accommodation, we recommend sleeping in a hammock, either in Frognmarka or along the coast. Frogn has a lot of open countryside that is ideal for spending the night outdoors.

Håøya is also a great place to pitch a tent, where you can stay for a maximum of five days.

A well-known hammock beach along the coastal path from Skiphelle to Ramme Farm is Kjeppestadbukta. Here there are several trees close to the beach.
