In recent years, Drøbak has gained many fine unique niche stores. In Drøbak city centre there is not a single chain store. Drøbak is also one of the few cities that has Sunday opening all year round. Most of the shops are located around Drøbak square, in Niels Carlsensgate, Torggata or Storgata. There are also many market traders at Drøbak torg, both in the summer and throughout the year.

Unique niche shopping in Drøbak
Kashmina is a Norwegian clothing brand that is designed in Drøbak, known for its delicious and exclusive garments in 100% cashmere wool. Many of the brands are Norwegian or Scandinavian design and you will be met with personal service and good guidance. The store has been in Niels Carlsens gate for 10 years and we love what we do. Ovidia Bay and Yasmin are other clothing stores that sell women’s clothing. Mrs Magnolia, Anneks, Lyst and Lysthuset are lifestyle stores that sell a combination of clothing and interiors, while No3 i sells interiors and clothing.

Another interior shop is Haver Interior, located at the cosy Haver Farm outside Drøbak. Calzado mainly sells shoes and lamps, while Hamborg sells menswear. Schau Optik has stood for quality both as an optician and as a seller of glasses – and sunglasses since 1971.
Butterflyisthe place to go for lingerie – and swimwear. This is a family-owned store that was established in 1983 by Wenche Ødegaard. In 2017, her daughter Unni Ødegaard took over the store and moved to a larger premises in the middle of the square. Dukkehuset in Kirkegaten 10 is one of the few doll repairers and also sells both yarn, fabrics for patchwork and gift items. Hageland Drøbak has a large selection of plants and flowers in Storgata in Drøbak city centre.
Tregaarden’s Christmas House is both an attraction and a Christmas shop, where you can visit Santa’s post office and buy everything from baubles to Christmas decorations to take home.

Sustainable shopping
There are also several places to shop sustainably in Drøbak. Fretex in Storgata has both clothes, toys, books, art and interior items. Kiwanis Drøbak has a second-hand market every Saturday from spring to autumn in an old bunker at the historic Veisving battery at Seiersten skanse. Otherwise, there are several flea markets throughout the spring.
Frk. Getz is a new shop in Niels Carlsensgate that is a combined workshop and shop with second-hand, retro and redesign. Right next door is also the second-hand shop Emporiet. Sitrus Second Hand is a second-hand shop in Lindtruppbakken, which sells selected high-quality clothes.

Hegn is an open ceramics workshop in Drøbak city centre. Here you can experience pottery production up close and buy self-produced utility ceramics and interiors for home and kitchen. Hegn also holds exciting ceramics courses.
Galleri Havstad is a gallery shop and frame workshop with visual art, ceramics, glass, jewellery and other gifts and decorative items. They have art from well-known artists such as Nico Widerberg and Pushwagner. They also have a large selection of visual art from Norwegian Liz Ravn, Torbjørn Endrerud, Kristian Finborud, Jertrud Eikås and Runi Langum. 90 per cent of the items at Galleri Havstad are made in Norway.

In the summer, Drøbak square is also filled with lots of stalls, from which everything from summer dresses and honey to antiques are sold.

Amfi Drøbak City
At Dyrløkke you will find Amfi Drøbak City, a cosy shopping centre with just over 30 shops. In addition to both grocery store, cafes, health food, pharmacy, toy store, tailor, Mestergrønn, Ark bookstore and Jernia, there are stores such as Lindex, Kappahl, Eurosko, Bogerud, B.Young, Kid, Princess and Kitch´n there.
Just behind Drøbak city is Espely garden centre, which is run by a family with a great passion for plants and plants.
Shops for boaters
Båtpleiebutikken.no sells things for boats in Vindfangeren. This shop is located at the boat dealer Heitmann Marin, which is one of Norway’s leading specialised companies for motor and sailing boats.
If you have anchored the boat in Drøbak guest harbour and need groceries, Matkroken is located right by Drøbak square. Grønthuset also has fruit, vegetables and groceries. Vinmonopolet in Drøbak is located in Wienerbrødskjæringa 3, right next to Matkroken at Drøbak torg.

BunadRosen is a family business in Drøbak that sells national costumes, national costume silver and accessories. They also sew bunads.
Lise’s sewing room produces Lise’s Festive Costume, which is a good alternative to the bunad. Lises Festdrakt is made in good, durable quality fabrics and is tailored to each individual customer, in the sewing room in Storgata in Drøbak city centre. This is a garment that can be inherited for generations. In addition to sewing their own party suits, they also adjust other national costumes, and make up dresses & trousers.

On selected days it is possible to buy fresh prawns and fish directly from the fisherman in the harbour.
Out in the village you’ll find local produce such as raspberries, strawberries and vegetables. Haneborg Farm is open all year round and has several local products.
