You can feel it in the atmosphere, the conversations, already a couple of weeks before the premiere. Has anyone spoken to the farmer? Has the local newspaper, Amta, written about the prospects for this year’s season?
People in Frogn are quality-conscious, and we go all out at the start of the season. We can’t get enough of locally produced strawberries from Saxebøl. Visitors are welcome to help us agree, taste for yourself!
Raspberries have their own little kingdom in Frogn, Bringebærlandet.

At Haneborg, at the entrance to Drøbak, it is the corn that fronts a large selection of organically grown vegetables. The Haneborg farm shop is open every day and offers pick-your-own corn, potatoes with soil on and other goodies.
Eiketoppen Gård, with organically produced meat from sheep, lamb and cattle, is another local favourite. The farmer herself, Stina, makes sure the animals have a good time as they graze peacefully on the lush meadows in Frogn. Speaking of lush and local, you can buy your plants from local nurseries such as Espely, Hauer gård or Hageland.
